Our re-launch and the exciting start to 2011 with our Skydive fund-raising campaign, also motivated our clients to start the year off trying new activities and taking steps to improve their physical fitness.
The skydive sparked a lot of interest in our clients; some saying they would like to have a go and others seeking out activities nearer the ground! Because some activities are governed by health restrictions, this has therefore led to clients taking further steps to improve their physical health. Some have actively sought diet advice from their GP and set themselves weight loss goals and others have also stopped smoking in the hope that this will allow them to feel fitter, more alert and be able to take part in fitness activities in the community.
Some clients have already started fitness courses & groups. We have clients regularly attending the local gym, yoga classes and line dancing!
Regular football training is about to commence in the lead up to another Bridge event in the early summer………so any footie fans out there…please revisit the website in a few weeks for updates & information.
