Compliments to our Team

16 March 2011

Bridge Mental Health have now been established for 25 years and we have a handful of clients that came to us in the very beginning, receiving 24 hour support at our main hostel, and who now remain under our umbrella, but live successfully in the community with minimal support.

We actively encourage our clients to tell us what they like or dont like about our service and value their input into our policies and procedures, so that we can tailor our service to positively meet the ever changing needs of our clients. Our clients were very much involved in the launch of our website and new brochure in November 2010, submitting stories, poems and quotes to be used, however 4 months on we are still receiving personal stories and compliments that clients have asked to be displayed on our website....here's one we received today:

“I have been with Bridge for 25 years, in their main hostel, (when it was less intensive-care), and also at one of their shared houses too. I am currently living in Bridge supported housing in south London and have been staying there for the last 22 years. Over the years, before I came to Bridge I was in hospital for various mental illnesses. I am pleased to say that I am now living in remission and now live a quality of life I hadn't in the past. My keyworker is Ms Barbara Doyley, whom I’lI see for support most weeks. And a big thank you ‘goes out’ to all at Bridge for the help I have received over these years. Thank You. GL”
