We are fully involved and have a say in our own support planning

Everybody goes through difficult times at some point in their lives. You may have been informed that a close relative has just died or you recently lost your job and the self esteem that goes with it. You may have found out your partner is having an affair. You may have discovered you are pregnant or just discovered you are not.

All of these experiences are part of life. They may come as a massive shock. Some people deal with personal tragedy in their own way, or talk it over with someone they trust.

However, we understand that when a traumatic life event happens to someone who experiences mental health problems, they may find it difficult to cope.

Bridge is very experienced in recognising and supporting people with a range of mental health problems, across all ages, on the path to recovery. Bridge can offer you practical support to set up a personal budget, so that you can take more control of the support you receive.

If this is your first experience of mental health problems, or you would like further assessment of the support you already receive, please give us a call. You’ll be glad you did.
